The August 20 Made By Google event is quickly approaching, but if recent reports are to be believed, some of the technology that will be unveiled at the event may be farther away than we previously thought.

According to WinFuture (a German-English translation machine), its anonymous sources are informing them that the new foldable, earphones, and wristwatch will not be arriving as soon as the Google Pixel 10 range, which is expected to arrive later this month.

Instead, it is said that the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel Watch 4, and Pixel Buds 2a—all of which have been hinted to via leaks—will go on sale on October 9.

Google’s supply chain issues are cited as the reason for the delays, although WinFuture claims its source did not elaborate.

If the leak turns out to be accurate, there’s a hint of irony here because Google recently made fun of Apple’s unprepared technology in a Google Pixel 10 advertisement that mocks the delayed release of the AI-enhanced Siri. The new Siri has yet to launch to its full potential as of this writing.

Many people who were eager to replace their technology may get frustrated if Google’s hardware is delayed, especially if it is delayed by more than a month.

However, we should be skeptical of these details, as is the case with any leaks.

We haven’t received any formal release dates for any of the devices, and other from the Google Pixel 10, we haven’t received any concrete promises about what hardware will be available at Made By Google.

However, this leak may be something to remember on August 20th so that we are not overly disappointed if any of Google’s new technology is as delayed as it appears.
