  • Google has shown off the back and one side of the Pixel 10 Pro in a teaser video
  • The phone is shown in a color that you can’t get current models in
  • Additionally, a leak has also shown off the four shades you might be able to get the standard Pixel 10 in

The official announcement of the Google Pixel 10 series, which is scheduled for August 20th, is still about a month away. However, for some reason, Google has already released a short teaser film for the Pixel 10 Pro.

The video, which is available on the Google Store website, displays the number 10 before showing the back and right edge of what appears to be the Pixel 10 Pro, as shown in the article’s top image.

There’s actually nothing much here that hasn’t already been shown off in leaks – and perhaps that’s why Google is showing the phone now. In any event, a triple-lens camera with a flash and what appears to be a temperature sensor to the right of the lenses is seen on the back in an elevated platform.

The Google logo is located halfway down the back, and the power and volume controls are visible on the device’s metallic right edge. The color is new; it’s a silvery tint with a hint of blue that will likely be dubbed Moonstone based on Pixel 10 color leaks, but otherwise the design is pretty identical to that of the Google Pixel 9 Pro.

Four more shades

Regarding color, Android Headlines has released what it says are authentic renders of the basic Pixel 10 in the four hues that it is reportedly going to be available in. These can be seen above.

Obsidian, Indigo, Frost, and Limoncello are among them; the latter two are more subdued, while the former two seem to be fairly lively here.

Additionally, three cameras are visible on the back, compared to the Google Pixel 9’s two. However, given that Google is reportedly planning to include a telephoto lens in the base model this year, this is to be expected.

The primary sensor will be 48MP, the ultra-wide will be 12MP, and the new telephoto will be 10.8MP, per Android Headlines and earlier leaks. If that is the case, Google will be adding a third lens this year while surrendering a few megapixels from the primary and ultra-wide sensors, most likely to keep costs down.

Google is hosting an event on August 20 where we anticipate the full unveiling of the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, so we’ll know for sure soon.
