- OnePlus has shared display information for the upcoming OnePlus 13
- Highlights include a 165Hz refresh rate and 1.15mm bezels
- The OnePlus 13 is expected to launch in China by October 31
The next flagship from the Chinese Android phone manufacturer, the OnePlus 15, is anticipated to debut shortly in its home market, with Western and international markets likely to follow in the upcoming months.
According to PhoneArena, the OnePlus 15 will go on sale in China in October 2025. As the date of release draws nearer, the business has released important display specifications in collaboration with sibling brand Oppo and display maker BOE.
GizmoChina (via GSMArena) claims that OnePlus made a direct statement revealing new official details regarding the OnePlus 15’s display.

The entire display of the OnePlus 15 will have symmetrical 1.15mm bezels. The ultra-thin 1.36mm bezels of the iPhone 17 Pro Max serve as a point of comparison.

Furthermore, the OnePlus 15 will have a refresh rate of 165 Hz, which is significantly faster than that of the OnePlus 13 and the majority of the top Android phones available. 120Hz is the norm for a flagship phone nowadays.
The frequency with which a display redraws the image on screen is referred to as the refresh rate. Motion appears smoother and moving details are easier to interpret when the refresh rate is higher.
Additionally, OnePlus said that the display will have an 11.8% improvement in color accuracy and a 13% improvement in high-brightness mode, which we think translates into a rise in measured brightness. Additionally, the display has a minimum hardware brightness of 1 nit and is TUV-Rheinland approved.

Additionally, the display is expected to have a 30% longer component lifespan and use 10% less power than the OnePlus 13’s display. Since OnePlus is already renowned for having the longest battery life in its class, this update may result in some genuinely remarkable longevity.
Additionally, the OnePlus 15 will utilize Oppo’s P3 chip, a specialized display controller that allows for a pixel row charging time of 1.3 microseconds, which GizmoChina claims is twice as quick as the industry standard. Better responsiveness and longer-lasting brightness at higher refresh rates are made possible by this.
Lastly, it appears from OnePlus’s leaked photographs that the OnePlus 15 will feature a flat screen instead of the curved one found in earlier models. According to current reports, the screen will be 6.78 inches in size.
Our current choice for the best Android phone is the OnePlus 13, and the OnePlus 15 is looking like a worthy replacement. Please share your thoughts about these display specifications in the comments section below.
