- More details of the Galaxy S25 FE have emerged
- The screen and battery could get a boost
- We might see a launch sometime during September
Although our initial thoughts on the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE are still developing, more Samsung phones are on the horizon, and the most recent web leak concerns the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE.
A TechManiacs story (via GSMArena) claims that the Galaxy S25 FE will have a Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide (LTPO) screen, which basically means that the screen can change its refresh rate based on what is on it.
If an always-on display is enabled, for instance, when the phone is locked, it can help lower the refresh rate and extend battery life. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE has an always-on display mode, but it doesn’t use LTPO technology, so the new model’s battery life should be less affected.

High-end phones like the Samsung Galaxy S25 and the Apple iPhone 16 Pro have LTPO screens, which may be a sign that the Galaxy S25 FE will be a more expensive model than its predecessors.
Battery upgrade

The battery is the second important component change that TechManiacs highlighted. It appears that the capacity will be increased from 4,700 mAh to 4,900 mAh, and the wired charging rate will increase from 25W to 45W.
Naturally, all of these improvements would be appreciated, but until Samsung officially releases this phone, nothing is known. It is anticipated to fall halfway between flagship and cheap phones, just like earlier FE (‘Fan Edition’) phones.
The Galaxy S25 FE may be powered by an Exynos 2400 CPU, according to some speculations, and its screen may be slimmer and have smaller bezels. Regarding the cameras, however, the back cameras might be identical to those on the Galaxy S24 FE. The most recent leak supports all of this as well.
Although there are signs that the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is on the horizon, the exact date of its release is yet unknown. Given that the Galaxy S24 FE was unveiled in September 2024, its replacement might debut in September 2025.
