- Google has shared a teaser video for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold
- The video shows off the phone in full, but doesn’t include any specs
- Leaks and rumors have given us a good idea of what to expect from the phone
Since Google has now teased a number of forthcoming phones, with the most recent teaser focusing on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, it may be thinking that you can’t leak something that has already been officially displayed.
With a huge camera block that resembles two smaller camera blocks jammed together, the phone appears a lot like the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold, according to a short YouTube video that shows the smartphone from the front and rear.
Additionally, a punch-hole camera, similar to the previous model, is visible in the upper right corner of the foldable screen.

The accompanying narration makes light of the fact that when you purchase a foldable phone, you can open it twice—once to open the box and once to open the phone itself—instead of disclosing any specifications.
Nevertheless, we do have a decent sense of what to anticipate when Google reveals this phone in full, which is probably going to happen on August 20. Below, we’ve highlighted five of the most significant updates we can anticipate. This is all owing to leaks and rumors.
1. An IP68 rating

Better dust resistance is one of the many less obvious improvements between the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, even if they may not look all that different.
According to one source, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold would be dust-tight and have an IP68 designation, which certifies that it can withstand water up to 1.5 meters deep for up to 30 minutes.
Comparatively speaking, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has an IPX8 grade, meaning it is equally water resistant but not really dust resistant.
Since none of the foldable phones available today have significant dust resistance, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold’s addition would be a huge win. However, the fact that none of them have such strong resistance also makes us doubt if Google’s phone would succeed.
2. A big battery

In addition to their lack of dust resistance, foldable phones frequently have lower battery capacities than non-foldable phones, which in turn typically have much smaller screens to power.
Although it’s not ideal, rumors indicate that the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold may include a 5,050mAh battery, which could be a positive step. It would be a substantial increase in capacity over the Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s 4,650mAh.
Additionally, it would indicate that this phone has a larger battery than its primary competitor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, which has a much smaller 4,400mAh battery.
3. Camera Coach and voice editing

Since Google is one of the leading brands in AI, it goes without saying that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will have some new AI features. Two such ones have been mentioned.
The most intriguing feature is a purported feature called “Camera Coach,” which is supposed to assist you learn how to take better pictures by evaluating your shots and offering advice on how to make them better.
However, we’ve also heard about a “Conversational Photo Editing” mode that reportedly allows you to instruct Gemini to alter your photos by altering the backdrop or deleting undesired aspects using your voice or typed language.
The already amazing Pixel photography experience should be further enhanced with the aid of these two products.
4. A Tensor G5 chipset

With multiple leaks and previous form indicating that it will contain a Tensor G5 chipset, replacing the Tensor G4 of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is also expected to be more powerful than its predecessor.
This should enhance the phone’s power, which might be useful for gaming, AI, and other things. Although the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which powers devices like the Samsung Galaxy S25 range, is likely to be more powerful than this processor, it should still be more than sufficient for the majority of consumers.
5. Screen improvements

Lastly, the screen on the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold might be superior than the one on the current model. In particular, the 6.4-inch cover screen (up from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s 6.3-inch screen) could be marginally larger. However, it may still not require any additional space because to the lower bezels.
Furthermore, rumors have it that the cover display could reach a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, up from the current model’s 2,700 nits. Although the primary display isn’t mentioned in this leak, it probably will also receive a brightness boost because it would otherwise be less bright than the cover screen.
